VFW Ste. Genevieve

Ste. Genevieve has a history that older American towns rarely match, and the VFW hall there carries some of that weight. We've filmed there, and what we brought back was a wedding that felt like it belonged to a place rather than just happening in one — the kind of film that, when you watch it years later, puts you in the room.

Marysa and Michael's wedding at the VFW in Ste. Genevieve showed us what this venue does: it gives a celebration the space and the permission to be what it wants to be. The hall doesn't compete with the couple — it holds them and their people.
